Steve Stories
I was summoned to jury duty the same time as Steve, and we sat next to each other in the courthouse. At one point, the judge told us to use the same common sense we used in every day life, and I, being a lifelong service industry employee, laughed out loud. I didn’t mean to. It just happened. Of course I got a stern talking to from the bailiff, and Steve thought it was hilarious. It was the moment at which we became friends. — Eli R.
